pheasants eating eggs

i got several l/h eggs then they started eating them before i can pick them up. why would this and how do i stop it?

Cut the top beak back until you get it to trickle blood.This means you have hit the nreve and they should stop.Just the top beak!Put a teaspoon of cider vinegar in their water supply.This is supposed to work by itself,but I have my doubts on that one,but either way do both to them.You should also be giving them grit.
