Pheasants not laying

I have two pheasant hens that laid eggs last year, I paired them up with a male each, January 8/19 no eggs yet. Wondering why they are not laying.

Nutrition? Age of hens? Hens just hiding their eggs? Stress or odd weather?

Same feed as other pair and she’s been laying since may21st.
These hens are two yrs old.
Search shavings daily.
Stress being with male possibly,it’s been over 5 months, but like us humans it takes years.

Hmm, beats me. Could be a lot of things. Internal laying, egg eating hen, something like a snake eating the eggs. Hard to say!

Most likely she's stressed. Sometimes it takes longer than normally would be expected.
