Remember if your going to raise ringnecks, you will have to check with your fish and game to get licensed.Well maybe ornamentals require a license in your state to,but here in N.H only ringnecks have to be licensed. The more room the better, always provide them with a place to get out of the elements, perches and shrubery(dead or alive) for them to hide in.In the winter months I cover the outside with poly so ne drafts can get to them. The roof is always covered with a heavy construction tarp.Run 3 or 4 hens to a rooster if possible.Use a ggood wire on the sides of your pen so no predators can get to them.I use hardware cloth all around and on top1/2" x1/2" is good wire.I little more expensive then other wire, but well worth it.This will save a single hen from a beating during breeding.Breeding season is very near. They start to pair up in late Jan and breeding will start soon after.Visit www.gbwf.org frequently and don't be afraid to ask questions.I'm sure you willget both pros and cons on every question you ask.
