Phesants sneezing a bit?

Quote:
This some really good advice too. Sunlight is critical and that dust- always be mindful of dust with food particulates, feather dander and fecal material- the combo is called Poultry Smut and it's the scourge of every poultry house- Poultry Smut is what makes pheasants sick. Chickens seem to sail through it with few problems- coturnix too.

Just wanted to update here for if anyone was wondering-

Got them moved outside a little more then a month ago and their doing great even with the 14 degrees weather we are having here now. No more sneezes! I even had my avian vet come out and take a look at them in exchange for a few eggs and she's pretty sure it was all the stuffy, dusty air down in the basement that was causing the few sneezes here and there.

All in all their doing great and have settled down quite a bit but still not eat from your hand friendly. Hoping to get some eggs this spring!

Thanks so all that ahve responded

I am hoping that you didn't kill your birds.I had the same situation last fall with my pheasants. Sneezing. My problem was just a parasite called gape worm. This problem was solved by just giving the birds worm medication.
