What can I share today? Hmm…I’m gonna share a recipe box my sister got me for Xmas from an antique store. Not sure it’s an antique, though? And a chicken trinket box my grandparents got for me when I first got chickens and fell in love with them. And some of my Ravioli’s feathers from her molt that I wanted to keep because I thought they were pretty.

i will be doing some shopping for sure. I do have a vintage vase filled with assorted bird feathers I find, and have several chicken feathers in there as well. I feel a bit better now lol

I might frame a pic or two from the calendar .. until I can get good shots of my own chickens.

Why are we like this with feathers? Lol

Great idea! One thing I do need to do, too is frame some pics of my chickens. For how much I adore them I have zero pics of them in the house. Unless you count these drawings I had my brother do of them as pullets. I really wish I would have waited until they were adults to have artwork done of them. Idk what I was thinking getting pictures drawn of them in the awkward stages of life 😪 plus I dont even have one of Ravioli, just my original 4.

They are wonderful drawings! No idea why we collect feathers lol. Many I have found at the local park and end up sticking through my hair to carry them as I'm busy with two dogs and a ball. One is from a pelican! hahaa
