Can anyone give me some constructive criticism? I use a Cannon PowerShot SD11000 and I just got it a little bit ago! I have used it 4 times but I don’t know how to get better :)

While learning more about the camera helps, the way to make significant improvements to your photography is to learn how light and composition effect your photos.

Using natural light or lamps made for photography to illuminate your subject almost always make it look better than built-in camera flash. Adequate light also helps reduce motion blur due to a slow shutter speed.

Move yourself and your camera around to find the most pleasing angles and compositions. Getting down at eye level with the subject can make a big difference. You can also move your camera or the subject to hide background clutter. The farther away the background the more out-of-focus it becomes which makes the subject stand out.

Hope this helps and have fun with your new camera!

Congrats on getting a new camera. Can you upload the original, full-sized images?

So unfortunately my computer won't let me download them. They are screenshots. The camera is 15 years old so I think it just is not up to my computer's standards or something.
