the flock (i call my flock, the "little troop"/"The Big Bombs" or "The Clucking Crew" no pun intended on any of them) were actually free ranging at the time.

Cool, I sometimes let my chickens free range... But my girls destroy literally every plant they see. and they will try to poop in the most inconvenient places: doormat, path way, neighbors steps,* snicker * and on the rabbit coop. So now I can only do it every now and then.
