Oh oh oh and before I get to those
My new little 11 month old guy is quite the displayer today..and no didn't get photos of it
But just have to ask, cause it was quite comical..we all know I have chickens and peacocks, Two runs, but boy they still intermingle
And the peacock..displayed non stop today, and would walk up to every single creature no matter what it was today..little chicks, big chicks, peahens..I swear if there was a frog that showed up he would have turned and did it to that too..lol

My question though is..I noticed today, him displaying and shaking like vibrating his feathers at everything..as opposed to feather displaying and shaking his booty, is that all normal?

I added today a carport style tarp thing to provide shade in the run and well, was gonna put the other set of leggs on, but thought..what the heck, I kinda like it like this, and I bet it will be more stable

How old are they? Also that pied male is beautiful, white on both sides of the train then regular coloration in the middle, he is just gorgeous.

Wow!!! That looks amazing! I got my netting and it is up, I am gonna have to post pictures of it tommorow. I also built a tree LOL. Looks pretty funny.
And yes it is normal for him to be rattling and shaking his buty and feathers. That is suppose to attract them females. But most peahens play hard to get LOL.
I am getting my peacocks on Friday. I am buying a 2yr old white-eye peacock

Hopefully it is not to late for him to breed with the peahen(s) <------- Idk if I am getting more than one

I like your shelter. The white tarp looks cool. I am in the process of building a 4'12 shelter for my peafowl I will probally attach it on to the run so it comes out. Because my pen isn't as big as yours so that would take up allot of space

How pretty he is! I love the setup you have for your birds. All that grass! I regret being in the desert when I see pictures of such pretty greenery.

very nice pied lot of white(but not a silver pied) lookd like he may be white eye. i see a few white eye feather, but wait and see if he gets more.

You've done great with the whole setup! Put a cover over the chairs or they won't stay clean for long lol. And be careful about keeping them with chickens, most people say that's a big no-no! Beautiful birds as well.
