Photoshop Help: Noise?

I'm working on making stars and I used a black background then added noise to look like stars.

But, the problem is, there are a billion stars so clustered together. What can I do to separate

them?

Please suggest asap!

Any particular reason not to use a photo of the stars at night?

Go to the free website picnik and there is an effect of stars. Upload picture, edit, got to create, then in featured click the top connection and has about 9 different types of stars. I like the blue one with a shooting star on the top right. When it loads your whole picture will be stars , then there is a button to dial down how much you want to show through from all to none to anywhere inbetween. Then Apply save print
