I have pixlr off the internet which is free one. I ended up zooming in and using a smaller brush size and then the Smudge factor I took from what Symphony has told me. If the brush size is too small it shakes too much. Others know more than me.

eta So what I am trying to say is the brush size and the smudge factor are 2 seperate settings. My smudge factor is automatically set at 50 everytime I go in there and then I have to change it. The brush size I change when I am on the picture and I right click on mouse to change size. But that with pixlr.
