piano?

hi,

just wondering, but who else likes to play the piano and what do you play?

I like to play. Normally what I play are hymns since I play for church. But, I also like classical. (BTW, I love the pic in your avatar. What breed?)

Yes I play... Started with lessons at 5. Played in several high school bands, and in college.. I have also been known to play at Church, Music Fests, 3am in the morning when I can't sleep. I also play the Cello. Sadly I play by ear, more than sight.. Infact it got me into a LOT of trouble with my Piano Teacher... I would have her play a selection so that I can hear it the way she wants me to play. Then I would go home, and work it out, and play it back for her... However she got wise, and started playing it for me wrong, and that is another story..

I love improvising "in the moment" compositions on the piano. It's so easy to make the instrument sound great once you know little bit about music theory.
