Pic...is it a tom or a hen

i had thought it was a hen but then it started fluffing up like this...

I think it is a tom... I've only ever seen my toms fluffing their feathers, pointing their wings down, and doing "the strut"

Hens DO strut sometimes. I confess it's a little hard to tell if this bird is a boy or girl but it looks like there's some feathering going on up the back of the head. A Tom would be bald.

I'm so not a turkey expert at all, I'm still new to this but I'd say that is a hen. The head looks the same as my bbw hen.

i think a girl what is age of bird?/ very pretty one, i have two of each and the girls ruffled their feathers for a while to til the boys out did them,..............

thats a royal palm hen and they will strut they just don't gobble! tom!!!!!!

It is a hen, see how the feathers go all the way up the neck. Also my hens strut at times just to show off.
