if you got questions about chickens, BYC is the place
hmm. by sex match do you mean would the breed? any rooster will breed with any hens. a barred rock x light brahma would be a pretty bird i imagine, and if the light brahma were to breed with your feather footed hens it would produce feather footed chicks.
do your feather footed hens look anything like this? it is a buff brahma
i mean i would like to get some beautiful chicks if they were breed with the brahma roo. and then would those hens produce off spring. they would be ok?
the barred rock x light brahma mixes would likely look interesting. i don't know enough about genetics to tell you much, but they MIGHT be sex-linked chicks, meaning you will be able to determine the gender by color.
you will get feather footed chicks if the light Brahma breeds with your feather-legged mystery chick, and i bet they would be gorgeous! i think you'd be happy with the results
and yes they would produce offspring so long as the roo does his duty, and in my experience roos will try to mate anything from a lump in the ground to ducks. any roo will breed with any hen and the hens will lay fertile eggs.
