Pic of chick starter???

My husband went to a different feed store and picked up chick starter feed yesterday. I’m concerned about it, so need advice please. I don’t give my chicks grit until I give them food other than chick starter, but this feed has small pieces of ground corn. Can they eat this?

Important note is that chicks don’t eat for 24-48 hours after hatching. Don’t be concerned if they don’t eat right away.

The bag of crumbles that I got for my day old chicks was kinda big too. I ran mine in a blender for a few seconds for the first week.
I filled to the 5 ounce mark. If you put more, it won't blend evenly. GC

Look on the ingredients label, it might have grit included.
They do need grit of eating any grain, cracked small or not.

I don’t see it listed. That is what I was worried about. I’ll get some chick grit tomorrow.

I am sure it is fine. I don’t think they would be selling something that would make the chicks sick.
