It's her daughter, we're pretty sure. That pic is several weeks old now. Lizzie would just fall asleep in Lynn's hands and I thought it was cute, but with the pic size on the front page, it's a little harder to see unless you click on it and enlarge it. Ok, you people just go to dark places, don't you, LOL?

Hello! Lizzie's mom chiming in here! She is very much alive, and very definitely a PULLET!!! Thank goodness, since she was a lone hatchling! She used to get so petered out following Hootie around all day, that I would pick her up and hold her while she took a power nap!

Here are a few pics, one of her with her broody surrogate Mom, one showing her big FEETS, and one recent shot. She is 18 weeks old now!

She took after her mother, Lexie, and kept us guessing for quite a while! Funny though, even though her feathering suggested "boy" she has always been shaped like a miniature hen!

My Fussy I do believe really would like to have adopted my chicks, but she also wont leave her buddy Red. Red has blood in her eye when she sees them, Fussy whines, trills, cries and wants to get to them.
I have tried a couple times to let her out singly to interact with the chicks, as she goes nuts when she sees them out, dang near climbs thru the fence trying to get to them, especially if they cry when they hear a noise and hide. Then I let her out, and SHE is scared without her buddy, Red. sigh... If I just had her as a single chicken, she would have adopted them, I am sure of it.

I KNOW what Red wants to do to them, she is pretty obvious about it.
