PIC, Silkie born with "bald spot" on his back, how come?

This little one was born yesterday with this bare spot on his back. Should I worry or do something? It's healthy otherwise, eating, drinking, walking, chirping. What could this be?

It looks like he had eggshell stuck to him. It could be that the shell bits got pulled off along with the fuzz. I think it will grow back in.

thanks for your response! I think it's a rooster as when I put him in with the 2 others that are a few days older, he stood so tall with chest puffed out and is all about being seen. the other 2 could have cared less, they just wanted to sleep. He's fine! He did birth for a day and a half and squeeled when he burst out with that last push. Maybe you're right.
