I loved every Americuana I have had. I have a Buckeye that shows no fear. Always first but not bossy. And third my gold comet sexlinks. Small hens start laying at 16 weeks and you’ll never get a rooster. All the ones I named are friendly and personable.

I love my emotional support bantams. Have to have my:
1 Cochins (all colors)

2 D'Uccles I have had Porcelains and Millies love both.

and
3 Silkies Off to a slow start want to eventually have all the colors and mixes I can stand to clean up after.

I love all my girls, but I’d say my three favs are:
1. Silver Phoenix (“Little Stinker”)
2. Appenzeller Spitzhauben (“Joan Jett”)
3. Silver Wyandotte (“Wilma”)

#1- Jersey Giant, especially good quality black.
#2- Marans (Black Copper or Red Mottled, I don’t adore Cuckoo)
#3- Brahma (I need to find a breeder, my hatchery girls aren’t quite what I want).

I’m working on breeding these 3 together to make an improved giant dual purpose hybrid. Awesome birds, all!

But what would I do without my fluffy Cochin-babies? Or my sassy Rhodie? Or my adorable Easter Eggers? Not part of my breeding project, but you’re breaking my heart!
