if you were getting a rooster and 8 or so hens for ur family for eggs/meat...

which one of these 2 would you pick to have: buff orps & speckled sussex OR barred rock/partridge rock?

I'm goinna mix it up and say Buff Orps and Barred Rock. They are great dual purpose breeds and non agressive!

I would pick the sussex and the rocks. I prefer their temperaments, though the rocks are more prolific layers.
