Pretty excited to try the whole raise your own chicken for eating instead of just for eggs thing. I got 10 cornish x. My wife already says that they are too cute to eat and we have to keep them as pets. She did the same thing with our meat rabbits. She thought it was a great idea to breed and butcher rabbits, untill we had a litter. She jumped ship real quick cause they were so cute and ordered no rabbits slaughtered! LOL

Well, let's see if she still feels that way in 8 weeks. By that time I can't wait till they are gone. We do this every year and yes they are cute when we get them but after 8-10 weeks of constantly cleaning the pen to keep the smell away, you will be ready too. Good luck, they are still worth it.
