Picked up our first Turkeys yesterday

We were wanting to get some turkeys this year but just have been putting it off. Saw yesterday on Craigslist that a local feed store had 6 turkeys they were giving away for free.

My SIL just happened to be going over there to get some hay and she picked them up for me, 6 bronze turkeys.

Now to start building a place for them. I'll have them in my shop brooder for around 8 weeks so I should have enough time. Looking forward to watching them grow!

You now have one of the best dinners you'll ever eat! And for the price you picked them up at.... LOL Have fun they are great birds to watch. We love sitting out with ours.

You won't need to build them much, so you should have plenty of time.
