My girls are almost 6 weeks old now and this morning I noticed one of the smaller ones had a few teil feathers broken off and there was a little blood coming out of the pins. I wasn't very surprised. I guess they are sorting out the pecking order all the time. But I isolaterd her fearing that the bullues would taste blood and make the situation worse.

I am working on enlarging their space.

Question: Once feathers are missing or broken will they stay like that until moulting, or will they gradually grow out again?

I really can't answer the question on the feathers growing back, but I do believe they will if it isn't to serious wound. I myself had a pecking problem a few day back. All is calm down now and slowly reuniting them tomorrow. I'll be doing it one at a day and observing for problems as it goes along. Hopefully they will be in the coop by Tuesday??? You might want to check out some of the great advice I received with dealing with my problem...

They should start growing back before hand. I have a hen who was over mated so much she would only come out of the coop to drink real quick and then go back inside because the rooster was after her right away. I put her in a seperate coop and pen and there are already feathers growing back. She's been in there about a week.

Be careful about the pecking. Have read some threads about the feather pulling leading to severe feather pulling and eating. Try to find out which one is doing it and be sure they stop or it can lead to cannibalism. Once this starts it can be difficult to stop, get the space enlarged as soon as you can.
