Picking out chicks

Finally we are getting our chicks! We are getting 3 Silkies, 1 Easter Egger Bantam, 1 Buff Orpington, 2 Blue Cochins. We want all females, but know that it is hard to sex chicks. What should we be looking for in these breeds, if anything?

Are you buying them at the feed store? If so, then ONLY buy them from the sexed pullet bin. No gaurantees, but you are better off. Usually, the hatcheries wont sex banties.
