Picking up chicks from Ideal tomorrow

So, no one else is picking up their chicks from Ideal today? Darn. I was kinda hoping to meet a fellow Texas chicken owner

How did it go? We got our Ideal chicks in the mail 2 weeks ago. I am envious you're able to save them the discomfort and get them in person. You should post pics over in the Raising Baby Pics section!

I did yesterday via mail. I called the post office to see if they were in, and the clerk informed me they sent the box out via my postal carrier on his mail truck! Wut.

I was kind of bummed to see I got 15 packing peanut roosters, since they are illegal here. I requested that they charge me for extra insurance and exclude the roosters, but here they are. I don't really have enough space for 25 half-grown birds. C'est la vie and meat in the freezer, I guess.
