Has anyone picked up eggs to hatch while on a vacation where you had several days of driving after picking up the eggs?

I would have 4 days of driving once I picked up the eggs. If I did this how would you transport them home? Would you put them on ice in an ice chest or just in the car? Is it too long to be without an incubator for the eggs? Any thoughts on this?

if the eggs are already a week old when you pick them up...maybe not a good idea

Are you travelling in the heat? Daytime vs nighttime temps in a car would be bad for eggs.

I have one of those plug in coolers that we keep in our truck for eggs we sell out of town. That would be PERFECT for what you need!

No plug in cooler but maybe I should take a thermometer to put on the eggs. I'll make sure they stay out of the water and ice too.

What the heck I might just do it.
