Picking up new chicks tomorrow :)

So excited! We haven't had babies for two year now and tomorrow I am taking my granddaughter to pick up 10 new fuzzy butts to join our feathered family (eventually).
We are getting Marans, Ameraucanas, New Hampshires and SL Wyandottes. I am especially looking forward to the Marans and to adding some variety to our flock.

Oh they are sooooo cute. I thought I would miss something by not hatching ourselves but I really like the "ready made" versions.
We ended up with
4 Cuckoo Marans
1 Buff Orpington
1 Rhode Island Red
2 Silver Laced Wyandottes
2 Brahmas
All 4 days old.

Things change when one takes one's 3 year old granddaughter chick selecting.
