Excitement is abounding in our house today-- at 4:00 today we get to go pick up our new dog from the pound. My four year old son has a checklist of each hour that has to pass before we go and is very excited about crossing off each hour. It's so cute!

Of course, she won't be that excited... she's being spayed this morning

I'll get some as soon as she's here!

We're SO excited! We think we've decided on naming her Pepsi. We've NEVER had a female dog, and we've NEVER had a border collie, so this should be interesting-- my first non-mutt since I was seven or so

. (My last dog was Pitt/bassett/lab/heeler/cataloua/great dane..... etc. etc)
 
OK, she's home!

She did not get spayed, she's rescheduled due to the sniffles...

She's very sensitive and sweet. I think she did not have best experiences in her last home, she keeps acting like she's expecting to get smacked around. She's great with the boys, knows how to sit and fetch, and is learning to figure out things with the cat...
