Picking up roosters

    What would be the best way to pick up a rooster and not let it attack you? I don't have any problem getting near them but don't think that they would appreciate being handled. One of them has jumped at me before but quickly learned that I don't appreciate that either. I am giving them to someone else today. Thanks for the info.

    My teenage daughter and I picks up our roos from the side or back after cornering them first usually.
