Wanting to pickle eggs for the first time. Whats your favorite pickled egg recipes and instructions?

I'd like to know also, I saw a recipe for refrigerator type but I'd like to get one for pickled eggs that you can.

Funny I know you can buy it in stores but it is $$$$.

I know. To find a shelf-stable recipe for them these day's, you would probably have to check on some of those survivalist site's. They might have something.

Around here any gas station or country store you go into has a large jar of pickled eggs sitting on the counter. It has been opened and on the counter for weeks so I know there is a way to do it with quail eggs. I have a friend that cans quail eggs but he sells them and will not give me the recipe.

Maybe you could find a pickled quail egg recipe and then adjust the ingredients to be able to cover the bigger eggs?
