So, I took some of the advice on the forums and fed my day-old chicks some crumbled egg yolk. Now, it's all they'll eat! They completely ignore their chick starter (to the point of those starved clear poos), so I've had to mash the feed in with more scrambled eggs just to make sure they're getting medicated feed. Are there any health risks to a mostly egg diet? Since they're too young for cholesterol and heart attack problems;) I don't mind feeding them eggs if they don't mind, I just feel like they need a more varied diet! Any ideas???

I suspect you're not withholding egg yolks long enough to force them to eat the chick feed. Baby chick poos have all sorts of appearances.

I think that chick starter is very important. I don't ever feed treats until they are much older. If it were me, I would wean them off those eggs fast and get them back on the balanced diet of chick starter...
