I was just touching up the stain on my fence around my coop when I noticed some dust tracks on the fence. Five toes = coon.

The coop has only been inhabited for 2 weeks. And, I live just off the square in a smallish town. I was halfway expecting coons, but not really. Glad we made it predator-proof. Guess we'll put out a live trap for the masked bandit.

Perspective: Outer fence is 36 inches (3' tall) with no footholds.

    Notice anything?

Closeup showing 5 tootsies, so I won't blame my cat!
