The 2 grey babies have clean legs so I think they are Polish
The 1 white baby has some feathering on it's legs, it's Houdan??
The 2 black & white babies have heavy leg feathering. Any ideas????

Come on, where are the experts? I figure the first 2 are Polish, but what are the rest? Feathered legs, crest growing back, wrong colors to be Houdan. Anyone???

Well I am no help. I can say that my mottled houdan does NOT have feathered legs though. His are clean with five toes.

Where did they come from? A hatchery?

I hatched them from some new Polish that had been in with I have no idea what breeds of birds before I got them.

Is it possible they were in with silkies? That's what the last two look like to me, silkiexpolish.

Your white one has the same head shape and fluff as my silkie and is about the same age. What a need mix Look it's a desinger chicken. Start a trend just like they did with the Labradoodle.LOL

So are we looking at Pilkies then? Or Silish? But they don't have the Silkie type of feathers. Or black skin. Such a mystery!
