Skeeter & Critter - I did the same thing around my perimenter, except I put 2x4's between the bases of each post & also stapled the fencing onto the 2x4's. I feel VERY confident that my run is safe from predators! It's nice, being able to leave for work & know your poultry is safe!! Nice area they have!! LOVE to see large runs for the birds!!
