Amiga, It has been a happy week for us, what with the ducks going in the pool and our baby chick hatching on Thursday. Very excited and busy watching all the activity !

Louise is beautiful! I like the idea of a soft-sided pool. I'm going to look into those for my wee ducks who should hatch tomorrow!

Thank you, yes she is a pretty thing isn't she. I believe she is a cross Buff. We thought we would start with a soft sided pool to see how they got on. Also only the top two rings are inflated at the moment until they are confident enough ( which wont be long !). They tend to roll in and out of the pool from the side rather than use the ramp.
Good luck with the hatching tomorrow. Love to see pics. Our baby chick that hatched Thursday is doing fine with its mum ! Such exciting times !!! Good Luck Beryl

My buff mutt looks exactly like your gal! Her mom was pure buff but her beak was speckled, I like the dark bills the best though

Awww what lovely ducks they are and yes our two , they are so alike aren't they. Thelma is a dark kahki campbell and also has a dark beak. Such fun to watch.
