Hope you enjoy! Notice the chick on the left....Just when the chick on the right THINKS he's going to be the 1st out "all the way"....POP comes the other!

That last pic is really funny. He looks so undignified lying on his back with his big feet in the air. Very cute. Congratulations!
Those are some really clear photos too. Great close-ups. What kind of chicks are they?

I think the experts would call them mutts(because the daddy is one mutt and the females I think have some mix too)

...I'm just want some good egg layers, and wanted to try hatching.......You can see a pic of the daddy on my Avatar. The females look like Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds(but like I said I don't think any of them are "true to standard")

Thanks for the comments! We have 6 chicks out of 14 and 3 more pipped!

Your roo is sooo pretty! I'm the proud owner of several mutt chickens myself. I took my boyfriend to an auction and he picked out a top hat roo, but vie never seen one like him before. Anyway we got him for $2 what a steal, I paid way more than that for my silkies but anytime some one comes over he's is the favorite. We love our $2 mutt roo!

Congrats on the chicks! They're too cute
