she is so proud of those 2 peachicks.she loves to inprint on them she wants to keep them to see if either is a peahen.she wants to keep one more hen for her ib male next year will the sp hens lay at a year old?

Most one year old birds don't lay. Have about 6 hens at 1 year, no eggs to speak of. The wait does seem long but worth it.
