I'm not quite done yet...I have a lot of aesthetic and automated things to do to it still but this is pretty much the run:

Looks great. Lots of room in the run, lots of shade. May I make a couple of suggestions? I see you are using the same apron system around your run that I am using. It works really well. Maybe you've already planned to do this as you finish up, but those corners should also be protected by the apron. You can do that by cutting a square that overlaps each end of the apron and using landscape fabric staples pushed through to connect them. I'd do the same thing in front of the door.

Yes ma'am that's what I was planning! :) thanks! landscape fabric staples - cool! I'll check them out. Deer netting is also on top of the run that I put up after the picture was taken.

I really kinda thought you were already planning to take care of those corners - it's easy to see the planning that went into your run so it wasn't too likely that you'd over look those corners! But I had to ask..... The photo made it look like the top was already covered so I hadn't mentioned that. But then, I've got old eyes!

Landscape fabric staples are my best friend at times. They sure worked slick to hold down the apron in my setup. Just pound one into the ground every foot or so - even closer if you can - and that apron lays nice and flat. We planned to put flat rock over our apron, but the grass grew up so nicely through it that we can mow right up to the sides of the run. I decided I liked that idea better than the hidey-holes the rocks would provided to smaller pests, so we left it.
