Hey everyone, I just wanted to show off my flock. I am new to this chicken raising thing. It started with my hubby getting 5 guineas and 2 bantys, a hen and a roo, and then we got two Black Orophins(sp?) hens. Then I rescued a buff hen, and then we bought a striped hen(chick) then correct name escapes me. Then for my birthday because he knows that I wanted Ameracauna's REALLLLLLY bad and could not find any locally, ordered them from the local feed store. And last but not least I got a new roo for my older hen, he is a Ameracauna belvever cross, and is just beautiful and sweet. I am so enjoying my self, and my husband is building me a coop that I posted pics on my page. Anyway here are pics. Thanks! Oh boy look out now I can post pics!!
Ok I can't figgure out how to add pics! Help!!

Awww you have beautiful birds! I love the black and redish rooster.

But as a side note. Your 'Ameraucanas' from the feed store are actually Easter Eggers. (Which in my humble opinion are better)

Feed stores purchase their birds from hatcheries, and hatcheries list their Easter Egger's as Ameraucanas.

I love baby chickypoos. Do you know what everybody is?

Yes the smaller ones are the Ameracaunas or "easter" egg chickies the two paired blacks are the black Austalorpes(This is a correction from above).the 4 funny looking speckled ones with the tan colors and large eyes are the 5 guineas (1 of which died) Oh and the Ameracuana or easter egg chicks I had one get trappled into the water dish, and you're going to love this, I proformed mouth to beak ressesitaion and it lived!
