Mated to a BC should give a better coloured chick (if the BC cockerel is pure LOL) . I would cull all the cockerels and mate the resulting pullets (if they have good enough egg colour & leg feathering) back to a BC. Again cull all the cockerels and repeat for about 3-4 generations.
