This may be a bit off topic...but, I was wondering if one of you could explain the difference between TWT and AW? I can't be the only one wondering...can I?

Angel Wing is where the end section of the wing flips out and away from the body on a right angle and stays that way unless you catch it in its early stages and tape the wing before the bones harden. It typically happens when the pin feathers are coming in and heavy with blood
and often only affects one wing.

TWT is a wing tip deformity that Sebastopols often develop by the time they are 3 yrs. old.
Its kind of hard to describe but the tip of the wing twists
around so when the wing is folded in a normal position it causes some of the primary feathers to stick out but not to the degree of AW.

Maybe somebody else can describe it better but in all fairness to Jean this thread has really gone OT (sorry Jean, I sure didn't help) so maybe you could start a thread on this topic.

Oh My they are lovely i had a chance to get a breeding pair for £120 but i just dont have the space, they are very very beautiful birds
