I just bought 5 5 month old silkies yesterday I found on craigs list. I think I have 3 roo's and 2 pullets, in which case I will process 2 of the roo's. I also have 10 2 week old pullets in the brooder downstairs and my 3 I have left from last year outside, a banty roo named Little Pepe, a tiny banty hen, I think she has some serama in her because she is 8 months old and stands about 7 in. tall, nice little pink tinted eggs. and a polish cross of some kind named Ella that lays large blue eggs. Bless my DH's heart, he is very understanding of my growing obsession...
