Well i couldnt handle 5 peas, a guinea & a 2yr old all in the same house lol..so the new peacock palace is up and running- still needs some fine tuning, but theyre spending their first nite out anyways.
I used one of the stalls in the barn & added some deer netting on the half wall, built a raised wire floor & put it on hinges so that it makes for ez cleaning. My DH's uncle built this pea palace- i didnt ask..he just did it...im not sure how i feel about the perches with that rope, they look nice..but- it might need to be moved as they grow so they have more flying room.
This is my first time putting my peas out on wire, I have always just put them in pens..with dirt
perches graduated so they wont poop on whoevers below
theyre not too happy about the move- they preferred roaming my house..so its been nothing but crying since theyve been out.
Its larger than it appears, & has alot of height
btw- one of those black shoulders is getting green patches..does that mean male?
and..the one with the white flights is getting single white feathers in random spots- so maybe its not a split..maybe its a pied? (fingers crossed)
