I've been to a pentecostal church and I find they sing to many new songs and almost none of the old hymns. The new songs are SOO hard to sing compared to the old 17/1800s songs.

Depends on the church, some Pentecostal churches are VERY old fashioned and others are very modern.
Personally, I don't like having to wear a floor length jean skirt just to crack open a moldy book and belt out four hymns and the national anthem before sitting for three hours on a pew made for keeping you too uncomfortable to fall asleep, I like my Hillsong worship, cushy chairs, iced coffee, and female pastors in yoga pants

Yeah I have my thoughts about it but we don't have a female head pastor, we have women who lead ministries and we call them pastors because pastor means shepherd, those women shepherd God's flock and they deserve the title that fits their role. I wouldn't go to a church that had a singular female pastor but I also don't believe women can't lead ministries. Also those women are wives to our pastors so they don't lack a covering.

At the moment I go to a Baptist church but I'm not a baptist. I'm going back to my childhood church once I'm moved.
I was raised non denominational so I'm a mishmash of Pentecostal, charismatic and evangelical beliefs.

It's not weirder it's just more traditional. And don't tell me what I do or don't have to do in the churches that I've been to. Some places don't allow certain attire here.

Nice. Good to know. All my friends agree on this but one - I mean friends that I hang out with in real life, not the internet
