What are the defining characteristics of the fee varieties? I had looked it up, but it seems like it is a lack of part of a pattern, but I just don’t see what it is.
removing the brownish or reddish pigments. I think it varies a bit with how much red is removed because my Grau Fee is still pretty brownish on her breast feathers.
Falb Fee is fee with a wildtype or Pharaoh base, it has the classic striped and speckled look but with hardly any brown or red, just gray and white.
Grau Fee is fee on a Rosetta base.
I’m a bit confused on the terminology as I’ve seen Grau Fee applied to this fee on Tibetan base but I’ve also seen this called Charcoal.
Pearl Fee is fee on an Italian golden or speckled base. There’s also Pansy Fee which is pretty self explanatory.
