Thanks for the comments. The coop is six feet by ten feet. I got the idea from a shed and barn builder from up the road. They had one like it that was six by eight feet for $1300.00 and we just didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a coop, so I decided to build one similar to it. I went to the longer building in order to be able to have a feed/storage room that will take up the first four feet of the coop. We plan to have 12 chickens with six of them being already bought and being housed at the place we bought them, they are 3 months old. We will be getting six peeps in the near future.
