Where did you order the birds from? What varieties do they provide?

You could have
buff
red
black
blue
white or splash

I would say the brown faced bird will be partridge or black. ???????

The down color of black birds can vary quit a bit. Can be all black to dorsal black and ventral white to cream with white/cream on the head. Just like your birds.

There seem to be quite a variety of colours of partridge cochins on feathersite. I also see there are some different chick down colours for partridge. Do the different colours of chick down result in different coloured partridge adults?

well i got my bantam cochin babies today and they said they were partridge

this is one of the older ones you cant see his leg feathers well (its more down) my others hav better leg feathers (i think he is a cockerel)

this is one of the younger ones again partridge (i hope)

this is one of the ones i think is a hen again i think she is patridge i hope these helped and didnt confuse you!!

So let me know what you think 1-4 are! I originally thought I had about 8 to 10 roosters, but I guess I was looking too early. Some of their wing feathers have really started to come out, and it looks like I won't have so many roos after all. Should make my hubby very happy!
