I am looking for sites or books with chicken feather color and feather pattern genetics. Looking for something with lots of real pictures!
I have a pretty good understanding of genetics terms and how DNA works (locus, incomplete dominance, punnet squares, etc), but I struggle to apply text, or examples with the fake clip art chickens, to actual chickens. For example, I had a fascinating pullet hatch out of a barnyard flock that looks nothing like the rest and I want to be able to, at least generally, pick out what genes she must have, or must not have.
