Picture of one HUGE egg

my dil brought this egg over last night....a patient at their office brought them some of these emu eggs.....it is the biggest dang egg I have ever seen....I bet it weighed 3 pounds....it had a texture to it and the color was like an avocado....

I would love to hatch it but I dont have an incubator....and what would I do with an emu????...I think they get big real big

Cool! And you're right. It looks like a real avacado. Wierd!

So how in the world would you candle an egg that dark if you did have an incubator. I wonder how anyone even candles cayuga eggs too.

I love the egg....I just want to look at it....my son broke one and put it in a pan and it took up the whole pan....said it had like 4 yokes in it.....now how does that make an emu? seems like it would make 4?????
