Picture problem

I am having a problem with uploading a picture to my profile. Everytime I try it says that the file is too large. The size of my pic is 45 KB and I thought that it said that it can only be 15 KB. Is that true? What in the world do I do?

You need software to resize the photo. You can try uploading it to photobucket.com and resizing it there if you don't have the tools on your pc.
