Which do you like more Highlands or Galloways I like them both but I can't decide which one I like more.
Can you tell me more about Zebras?

Yes Muntjac do well, we have raised alot of them. They are a typical deer though so you need a pen large enough that they can retreat to secure areas if they feel threatened.

So how large of a run would a trio need
and what about shelter or coop ,
what would you feed these little guys for a good health diet ,
and would they be able to live up north -east in Mass. where the winter temp get down to 30*F to the teens and sometime near 0


I really would like to get me a trio of Muntjac as pets , someone told me and show me a picture of a small deer like animal that was in Texas and there where selling them as Dick Dicks Deer not sure If this would be the same type of mini deer .

But as for price, I did some research an the prices are crazy high........ over 1000 to 1500 bucks each.

I have seen people keep them in pens smaller than ours, it just depends on each individual setup. The most important part is that they can get away from things that would scare them- like stray dogs trying to get into the pen.

Our pens are about 50 ' by 200' with ajoining pens on 3 sides. They have a small shed (10 x 12) in the center, which they can access to get out of bad weather. The front of the shed has fiber glass panels on the front to let in light and sun during the winter. When temps are below zero we sometimes turn on a heat lamp in the shed for them.

We feed a custom mix- which is close to a 14% sweet feed & alfalfa/grass hay, along with apples, carrots & other fruit and veggies.

Dik dik are an antelope. Muntjac are a deer.

Also are Da Dik Dik (antelope ) smaller then Da Muntjac (deer) and do you raise them and sell them also .

I will be giving some serious thought on getting me some , starting with more infor. about them and how to : keep –raise- feeding and caring for them and maybe setting up a large fence in pen for them but the Price would be the main Factor on purchasing a pair or trio of them .
Do you think they would get along with a trio of pygmy goats .
