Spectrum, do you know what breeds of pheasants you will be breeding next year? I will be looking for red buffs, afghan whitewings, and maybe one other breed. my little brother is wanting to get into pheasants so im helping him out.

Have you ever been to 74 Ranch in Texas? This guy has some amazing exotics my father worked for the Abercrombies till the day he died. I've spent some time on this ranch its neat seeing Giraffes running around in Texas plus all his other African animals. Your ranch made me think of George & 74 Ranch. You have quite a collection I do not want your feed bill. You probably grow some yourself I'm sure. 74 is into growing Monster Whitetails its a 27 thousand acre high fenced ranch. I hunted there years ago when it was low fenced .

Haven't been there, but I would love to have giraffe. I have a few friends that have giraffe, I have considered selling everything else to buy a pair.

2 questions for you.

Is there EVER a time when all is quiet?
How big of a stack of records do you have?

When we have 250 breeder peafowl, during breeding season any loud noise would set them off to start calling.

One thing that throws people off is the Ostrich, they usually think the males calling is one of the big cats.

I like things that make noise, only a few things that make noise that I don't like- dogs barking, egyptian geese hens when they get on a tangint about somethingor when we wean calves an there is over 200 cows standing by the corrals (which is not far from the house) calling to there calves all night

No stack of records- just piles scattered all over my desk, back desk, couple filing cabinets and second desk at the other farm.
