Night time is usually pretty quiet around here. I think the chicken roosters make the most noise at night, when I'm outside at night and one starts crowing it sets off a chain reaction and then there is roosters crowing everywhere.
When we have 250 breeder peafowl, during breeding season any loud noise would set them off to start calling.
One thing that throws people off is the Ostrich, they usually think the males calling is one of the big cats.
I like things that make noise, only a few things that make noise that I don't like- dogs barking, egyptian geese hens when they get on a tangint about somethingor when we wean calves an there is over 200 cows standing by the corrals (which is not far from the house) calling to there calves all night
No stack of records- just piles scattered all over my desk, back desk, couple filing cabinets and second desk at the other farm.
